A confirmation is only trustworthy if real capacity was protected.

The appointment says confirmed. The person arranges time, transport, childcare, work coverage, or risk around that signal.
The promise was not merely that a reminder was sent. The promise was that a real slot was protected.
Where confirmation overclaims
- The calendar syncs but the service schedule does not.
- The booking exists but no staff capacity exists.
- The reminder goes out after the promise has already drifted.
- The person waits because the product asked them to rely.
