Most product failures become clearer when you separate three things: the product, the carrier, and the praxis.
- Product: the promise-bearing offering.
- Carrier: where, through whom, or through what the promise is encountered.
- Praxis: the reliable capability that keeps or protects the promise under real conditions.
A mobile app may carry a promise it cannot itself keep. A support agent may carry a promise whose repair depends on another system. An AI assistant may carry confidence before it can carry proof.
